Hi everyone. I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was fabulous. Sir K was doted on all weekend and he loved every minute. To make it even more special, my sister Pippa came up with 3 of her boys and spent the night Saturday. This ALWAYS is a fun adventure. The weather was awesome. Our little surprise barbecue Saturday night was PERFECT. We had my sister, her kids and our favorite couple and their son over and we ate, had a few drinks and enjoyed ourselves late into the evening. The kids played on the trampoline for hours (and no one got hurt -- BONUS).
Sunday I got to spend some quality time with my sister and then it was off to O'Chuck E. Cheese for Sir K's official birthday party. I was a tad disappointed that the place was PACKED. Last year when I did this the place was empty and service was great. This year, not so much!!! Chuck E. had probably 4 or 5 other parties going on and the service was poor AND commotion almost unbearable at times. Of course, none of the kids even noticed and a great time was had by all. I'm not going to lie though I was exhausted afterwards. I did basically all the waitressing duties since our waitress was busy with the other parties so this didn't make Momma too happy. But you know what? Everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves so no harm no foul.
We have a very busy week planned. Soccer for Sir T is in full swing. 3 practices a week and 4 games on the weekend. The usual RE classes, daisy meeting and we still are going to celebrate Sir K's birthday with the grandparents one night this week. I unfortunately had to be in the office today so not going to get my week off to a good start in the preparedness department but somehow we will make it.
I hope everyone has a fantastic week. The weather in our area is just gorgeous so enjoy every minute and remember to count your blessings.
