Oh Pottery Barn Why Do You Tempt Me So

To say that I love Pottery Barn is a HUGE understatement.   Just ask Willy -- he pays the bill every month.  If you wander around my house you will stumble across a number of baubles and trinkets from my favorite place on earth.  From bookends to bedding, I LOVE me some Pottery Barn.  I spend a lot of time walking through their stores and just soaking it ALL up.  If I'm not physically in one of their stores, I can usually be found perusing their online catalog.  I'm equally smitten with Pottery Barn Kids and William-Sonoma. 

So today when I was lurking about, look at what I stumbled across:

This is the Top Hat Ice Bucket (Item #: 17-4020707) on sale right now for $34.99.  The original price was $79.00.  That's over a $40.00 savings.  I just ordered 3 for future Christmas gifts (I hope Pippa isn't reading this).

I love this style

This is the Ribbon Recycled Glass Pitcher (Item #: 69-3812757).  The original price tag was $32.50 but it's on sale right now for $26.00.   I just picked up 3 for end of the year teacher gifts. 

I also keep staring at this clock:

This is the Railroad Mantel Clock in black (Item #: 17-3065877).  I keep going back and forth on this clock.  I absolutely love it and now they have put it on sale.  OH THE TEMPTATION.   It was originally $129.00 and now they have it marked down to $89.99.  I'm trying to figure out if it will work on my mantel in the sun room.  Here is the sun room mantel:

I hate the windows over the fireplace

I can't warm this room up and it's killing me

What do you think?  Would it look good?  I don't like the way the mantel looks right now AT ALL.  Too bare I think.  I was figuring that the height of this clock (23" high) would help hide the windows.  What do you think?  Any advice would be appreciated.

We got the William-Sonoma catalog in the mail last night and Willy was intrigued by this item.  He doesn't bring stuff like this to my attention very often (actually NEVER) so I thought perhaps a nice birthday gift idea.  It just so happens that his birthday is this Saturday.  Should I?  Does it work?  It's on sale for $79.96 (regularly $99.95).   Is it worth it?

There are tons more great items on sale on the Pottery Barn website and some with FREE SHIPPING.  I'm excited for all the great stuff I picked up today.  I'll post pictures when I get them.
