Who Lives Like This?

This was my kind of walk-through.  We took the kids on a nice drive through the country and stumbled across this charming farmhouse.  It was built as a wedding gift back in the 1820s.  It's on the market right now for  $1,795,000.  Before you go crazy, it sits on 66 fenced in acres but it is only 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.  It's located at the foot of Short Hill Mountain near Hillsboro.  It has such character.  Let's take a look:

Is this not the cutest farmhouse
you have ever seen?

I love fireplaces and this one
did NOT disappoint

Very good sized room

This took my breath away

The kitchen, in my opinion, needed a lot of work
BUT huge potential for sure

This entry way was so beautiful
I mean look at the floors

The house had 2 1/2 bathrooms and
they all looked like this

The rooms were all beautiful
and pretty spacious for this
type of farmhouse

The original parts of this
farmhouse are AWESOME

Look at the ceiling
BEAUTIFUL

The views were spectacular
I could retire here

I can't imagine the upkeep on 66 acres.  Sounds scary yet intriguing all at the same time.  Hope you enjoyed the tour.

That's a beautiful house, indeed, but I don't know anyone who lives like that.
Thanks for stopping by my blog to read the lyrics to that beautiful song. I loved the video, and this song is part of the reason why. Another part of the reason is the inspiration from all of those volunteers, having fun working to support Children's Hospital!
