Welcome back to the real world everyone. I hope your transition was smoother than mine. No one wanted to move this morning including me. I hate having to wake the children but Prince Willy had to literally drag me out of bed so I had to take it out on someone (just kidding of course).
We ran the gamut on activities this weekend. From soccer tournaments to ice cream TO parties to pool, it just didn't stop. We had a blast though and we really tried to teach the children this year about what Memorial Day is REALLY all about. We took them by the Iwo Jima Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial and Arlington Cemetery. We plan on celebrating with Papa who served in Vietnam when he returns from vacation in Pennsylvania this afternoon.
I hate to continue to harp on my new coffee brewing system (see I have advanced now from coffee pot status) but it's so GREAT I can't help it. Prince Willy bought me a tiny gift on Saturday for no reason at all. He got me the Keurig My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter. I have to say I had no idea what it was but it's actually a great little accessory. It allows me to use my own ground coffee. You have to be careful because it only works in Keurig B40 Elite, B50 Ultra, B60 Special Edition, Platinum B70, and the Breville BKC600XL. It does not fit B100, B100P or B2000/3 Keurig brewers. Anyway, I haven't used it yet but will in the future. It's a great idea to have as a back-up if you run out of your K-cups. Anyway, here's the Target link. It was not on sale but Willy paid $14.99 for it (not too bad).
Anyway, I hope your long weekend was filled with beautiful weather, family, great friends and lots of blessings. Have a great week everyone and I'll catch up with you soon.
