Who Lives Like This?

COME JOIN ME AT THESE PARTIES:
Wow Us Wednesday
Between Naps on the Porch
Chic On a Shoestring

Some friends of ours moved out to Aldie, Virginia a few years ago and just love it there.  It's an unincorporated village (whatever that means) with quaint antique shops and restaurants.  Whenever we go for a visit, we fall in love with the area but it's just too far for the Toddlertown.  It's definitely a beautiful area though.

Yesterday my girlfriend sent me a home for sale near her and I cannot deny it caught my eye.  It's a beautiful custom built home situated on 4+ acres and great news, it's reduced to only $1,299,999.  Let me make this abundantly clear - the ToddlerTown cannot afford this home.   It's a 5 bedroom, 2 car garage (with a separate 2 car carriage house).  From the pictures, they have spared no expense.  Let's take a look:

Look how nice it looks
from every angle

First thing you see when you open the
front door.  Very nice.

Love this kitchen area.  Love the details.
Look at that ceiling.

Isn't it gorgeous?
Viking and Subzero applicances -
to die for

I wish I had room in my house
for something like this.

Of course I love the fireplace

Such a good sized dining room

Love the windows and the ceiling
in this room

I have something like this in
our mudroom so I love
this area

So cozy

I wish I could have a bathroom
this big

Such a pretty girl's room

I love murals.  Very cute.

I wish we had a basement like this.
Good space

Is my house the only house on the planet that
doesn't have a home movie theatre these days?

I am such a porch person
Love this space.

The home is filled with upgraded moldings, built-ins, and plantation shutters.  It has a sprinkler system, fully fenced yard and landscaped yard, nice patio/deck and of course a meandering creek.

Beautiful! Thank you for sharing....it makes me want to get my house in order. We moved to IL in January. My house is finally getting straightened out. I opened a consignment shop earlier this month and that has taken up most of my time.Have a great week!

It's definitely a beautiful home and setting, but I am sure it takes a lot of work to manage it. Maybe that's why they're selling it. I would love to live in a smaller home because a large home is just too much to take care of. You are either calling someone to fix something or fixing it yourself.Stopping by from Between Naps on the Porch.
