Happy Monday With a Status Check

One word - AWESOME.  What a nice weekend I had.  It started Friday afternoon when I went to Lady E's school for Mother's Day Tea.  She was so excited about this event and I was too.  She met me at the door and escorted me to my special seat.  This is the third time with the same teacher so you could probably label me an expert by now.  Nope, I teared up the minute I saw Lady E.  It just does something to me when I enter their little worlds.  It's sad yet so happy all at the same time.  It was a perfect mommy-daughter moment.  We hugged, laughed, kissed and basically had a blast.   I ended up staying until school let out and picked up the other 2 from kiss and ride.  We ran a couple of last minute errands and finished up by grabbing Lady A at daycare.  When we got home Prince Willy had shrimp cocktails prepared and steaks and kabobs grilling.  We all ate like pigs and laughed until it hurt.  Another great time and it wasn't even Mother's Day yet.

Saturday was filled with soccer games for Lady E and Sir K.  Both Lady E and Sir K got me a goal for Mother's Day and they were both so excited to give me that gift.  I'm not going to lie, it was awesome!!!!

Sunday started with breakfast in bed and tons of homemade gifts from the kids.   We then headed to the soccer field at noon for Sir T's game.  They didn't win but Sir T probably had the best game of his career.  He was sad he didn't get me a goal like Lady E and Sir K but I didn't care one bit.  I love that guy.  He played his heart out.

All in all it was a fabulous weekend.  I spent every moment I could in the backyard with the family.  The kids couldn't have been any better and Willy did a fantastic job at "taking care of me".

AND THEN THIS MORNING HAPPENED.  Did you know that I had to make my own coffee????  PARTY'S OVER, HUH?  Back to the real world.

I hope all my new "virtual" friends had a wonderful weekend being pampered.  I counted my blessings basically the whole time.  I hope you did too!

I hope everyone has a fantastic and stress-free week on tap.  I will be (hopefully) hooking up with E, Myself and I for the Midweek Confessions and I saw a great open house last Thursday that I can't wait to share with you all.  See you soon.
