I had one of those "Magical Mommy Moments" last night. I was in the midst of our bedtime ritual when WAY OUT OF THE BLUE Sir T asked if I could lay with him for a minute. If you have a 10 year old boy you know these moments are few and far between. I couldn't jump in the bed fast enough.
It was so wonderful to lay with him and talk about his day. We laughed and hugged for a few minutes and I told him how much I love him and how proud I am of him.
It was about 10 minutes of sheer perfection. When he finally dozed off and I got up to go to my room, I just wept uncontrollably thinking about him leaving for college in 7 short years.
NO, I'm not PMS'ing. It was just a perfect moment that got me.
